You just can extract the .pak files withe the dragonunpacker. To use modified files just place them in the Spellforce game folder

Yeah, but it is opposite...

I can't extract them with dragon unpacker, because it says "File format not recognized"
And I have Spellforce GOG version, it is 1.52 to be exact and In the pak folder the files I have are:
sf0.pak, sf1.pak all the way to sf36.pak
Using dragon unpacker I can see what is inside, or extract it.

My question is how to compress or send remade files (snow elves) into these pak files.

you can't and don't need to send files into *.pak files
you need:
1. back up your game files
2. unpack all *.pak files in order to spellforce folder
3. delete all *.pak files from spellforce folder
4. download snow elves mod
5. extract snow elves mod with any archiving software (7zip, winrar, etc.)
6. you should have 1 elves folder, so move its content to the spellforce folder
7. rewrite any file if prompted

Meh...
And I thought they have to be in *.pak version for game to run...
One more thing, because I am not sure after your reply.
Should I unpack these files to the pak folder I have inside Spellforce folder, or directly into spellforce folder and delete the pak folder ? :P

directly into spellforce folder and delete pak folder

Okay, but what about data folder ?
The pak files I have extracted had one folder called data, and some files inside.
And there was data folder in spellforce folder...
I could just move the files into one folder, but...

In both folders there is a file caled gold.sem and they both weight 1 KB
Should i just leave one, and delete the other one ?

you need all files from *.pak files, so you need overwrite any same file you see

Yeah, I did it.
And for now all seems to be working :)

When I was modding Gothic 2 I got some experience with problems with mods so I deleted all my save data and started new game. For now I am sure that icon in menu representing elf buildingplans has changed so that is a good news :D

And Dawn Army instead of Human army looks great :)

Big thanks to author and for help here on forum.
It is awesome that people still care about games like spellforce 1.

Big thanks once more :)
I will be sure to test more mods, so there is probability I will be asking things again xD

Oh, and one more thing, more request.
It always bugged me.
Could someone make a mod that will allow us to get more abilities.
Right now there are max 10 roads we can take (like Heavy weaponry -> Heavy blades, heavy armor etc.), and it would be cool to be able to use even more :P
Maybe mod like that already exist but I haven't found it. Anyways, it is just a question.



And are there any mods to change our character's looks ?
Like new faces, races (elves and dark elver would be cool)...
