Hi Guys.

I was thinking I wanted to create a new map with some cool different style game-play and objectives when I got 2 Ideas. Please tell me what you think.

So here goes the 1st idea.

I was thinking of creating a new type of map called a Siege Map. The map would be symmetrical with the north in the players control and the south in enemy hands (each map would be for different levels and based on a different theme such as a Jungle, Desert, Greenland etc.). You start in the north with 5 friendly buildings and your opponent starts with 15 of their own building (because the player constructs more buildings to create their army. The Idea is that both sides mount a siege on each other and you have to destroy the enemy base before they destroy yours. If you destroy theirs obviously their camp goes down and they stop spawning and you win and vice versa. The player also starts with friendly NPCs to balance it out and defend your camp in the beginning.

Resources wouldn't be unlimited either so there would be 3 resource settlements in the south in enemy control, with enemy spawn camps guarding it (so you have to kill them to build resource gatherers.) And equally the player has 3 resource settlement in the north guarded by friendly NPCs waiting for you to send worker there to build resource gatherers). If the enemy kills the friendly NPCs then it would render gathering resources difficult as your workers would be under constant assault.

So what do you think?

My 2nd Idea is a Fortress/Tower defense style in which the map is made in such a way that all the enemy camps have to follow 1 set route towards the players castle and the player has to set soldiers to defend the castle/fortress. You would of course have to to build a powerful fortress with different types of towers in strategic places as the enemy's level would be higher than your soldiers.

yeah, new maps, specially with different layout are always good :)

I like to create it myself, but I don't have much time to do so
I have a lot of ideas in my mind, but there is a lot of to mod either :)

one idea I'm making now: to implement all gods of Eo: Elen, Nor, Aonir, Hirin, Zarach, Ereon, Nieftalh, etc. :) It will suppose to be God Level Battle :D

I've been thinking for a while now to make a LV 50 map on which the day of the convocation took place. The map of the war of the 6 races where the player gets to choose which of the six monumens to spawn on. It is literally all against all, including all 13 mages on the map, the primordial beasts. This was also around the time in which the gods walked on the planet before it was shattered. It would be cool to have all the gods on the stated map.

Do you think I should make this map.

Also Rupuzioks, do you think I should make that war of the six races map, with all 13 mages, the primordial beasts and then some spots to put the gods in.

Or I could make a really cool arena.

In the meantime I am going to work on my Siege Map Idea and I hope you can test it out.

that map looks really cool, I downloaded your maps and soon I'll test them :)

that six races map can be coolest map ever, I'll create modded gamedata only for that map, so I won't need to worry about messing up campaigns

Hi Guys I need some help.

I was just wondering if anyone knows what the tab posted bellow is for. I dont know it's function, the manual doesn't say anything. Please help. It's under the brush settings on the Spellforce Editor.
