Hi Mordo I've downloaded both the modded game data and your modded maps.

There are part 01 and part 02 to the data which one do i copy and replace with, 01 or 02?. Also there are lots of posts with game data, which post should I download the data from.

I've copied and replaced the maps and now when I play the ground textures of mountains snow lava and grass textures are all messed up, there seems to be this one grey texture which is covers a large portion of the maps render (there are still the original textures but this gray seems to cover certain areas). What is up with that. Never Mind I saved and Loaded and the renders were fine. But I am wondering about that game data question earlier.

Hello.
You must download both rar1 & rar2 into the same folder,
then un-rar rar1, -and rar2 will be included automatically.

You will know you got it right when the un-rared gamedata.cff file is 65,293 KB.
And now you can replace the old gamedata with the new one you just un-rared.

As always i recommend making backup of original maps & gamedata,
before replacing them.

As to which gamedata you fancy, -well, just read description and take your pick,
they are all compatible with any and all maps.

It is a continuous work so i would pick one of the latest, if not the latest,
but some may not want anything modified at all,
(just only want the merchants, but not for example improved aura lifetap in SotP)
so i uploaded one such gamedata,
but that gamedata won't have any new monsters implemented.

I think you should read description and select, so you know whats implemented
in that particular gamedata.

Actually i think you should read the entire gamedata thread from post 1,
and you will see step by step what has been changed/added etc,
and then take your pick after you read them all

Thank you Mordo.

I have played spellforce so many times and I love the game (all three of them).
I have made lots of Maps on the editor and have gotten pretty good at modeling landscapes and making my worlds interesting to play (thanks to Artmoney)
In fact I have made a sort of campaign (which are a bunch of maps going from level 1 to 10 so far) in which you follow the maps in chronological order. Each map has a description of an objective and a little back story to it. I've placed set items and treasure areas, friendly setlements as well as enemy camps, just to make it as interesting as possible. But i just wished there was some way to create my own quests to go with my campaign, or program them. I'm not a programmer but i was wondering if anyone on this comunity could think of a possible way to do this. So that we could create our own campaign and playe. perhaps adding a GameData2.cff file as well as the original. Im just throwing ideas. Dont actually know what I'm talking about but is there anyway to do something like this.

as far as I know, there isin't way to do that
but I guess it can be possible messing with lua files inside *.pak archives, but there isin't repacker for it, so it's impossible to do that either

though in original forum someone suggested one way to do it, I'll check it later, and if it ok, then I'll try to mod something in pak files too :D

Thanks Rupuzioks. Would you like me to upload some of the maps I made, They are really quite interesting. There's this really cool map I made called Carnival. I called it that because I made lots of games to play in there such as dungeon delving, and arena, lots of merchat and even this war area where you can build armies of light and dark from monuments and watch them fight each other to see who will win.
