Hey guys, i'm planning to create a mod which replaces the Model IDs from some armors to Unit skins, so you can wear some cool skins like the young Rohen, Darkelf Warlock ect.

I saw it in one of your mods which changed the skins from some races or summoned units and this gets me the idea to make them wearable.

So my first questions are:
- Would anyone be interrested in using this mod?
- Are the models changeable in in the gamedata or in the .pak files ?
- And how can i search for the offsets, without any values to search for?

Sorry for my bad style of writing, i'm german. :P

you can change armor model in sql_items.lua file, which is in *.pak files
check my offsets topic, I uploaded most of the info about it in there

Okay thanks that helped me alot. But now i have to get into lua and this could take some time. little busy with my job next weeks. I'll try to upload some modded data as soon as possible. :D

Okay work is making progress. instead of using the hex editor, which was more or less a pin in the a** to work with i'm using your great gamedata editors (nice job guys!) One map is done that comes with the gamedata where you can buy and wear npc and custom skins!
Next step is to add the icons and balancing the stats so they wont be overpowered in MP.
