In one of the excel documents with info about the game, I found a sheet called weapon material. Do they have any impact on damage? I was guessing that maybe some enemies are weaker to certain materials.

no, material has no effect on damage

At first there is a so called weapon factor (WF) for every level:

The formula according to my infos is:
WF*damage of the weapon*strength of your avatar/(Armorclass/100+1)*Modificator

For every weapon class there is an additional modificator. For example you cant make the full damage on a skeleton with arrows, daggers and swords.

Wow, thanks a lot! I knew about the weapon factor, but I didn't know the damage formula. Also, now that you talk about enemies being resistant to certain types of damage... What's up with demons and basilisks? Those seem to receive half damage from any physical attack.
