Changing Titans

Post by Witchcraft » Mon Oct 19, 2015 2:19 pm

I don't know, if this is the right subforum. I want to replace some of the titans to new ones.

My thoughts are to replace the upgraded Elf Titan with Aryn, the upgraded Darkelf titan to Fial Darg and the upgraded Dwarf Titan to Bronze Giant.

My questions are: how does that work? Is there an OffSet, where the IDs, what building summons what unit(s), are shown? Or where do I start with that? And how does that work with being stronger with every Level Up my avatar does?

I know, I just could change the skin of the upgraded titan and add attacks and skills of Aryn, but I'm sure there should be also this way possible.

I guess, this is somewhere in the scripts, because I didn't find anything about them

Small update: Apparently I didn't need to delete the left hand, changing the item ID to 0 seems to work just fine.

Another question: How do I remove the flame effects from the orc titan?

it's scripted in object_effect_unitattachments.lua file

this is the line from the script:
AttachUnitEffect(2285, EffectGet("Titan"))
Tempus et vita, tempus et mortis

How did you decompile this script? With CFLuaDC I always get "Subscript out of range". Or did you use something else to read the file?

Any chance you could upload decompiled object_effect_unitattachments.lua file? I seem to be unable to decompile it.
